The Austral Ground Socket allows your clothesline to be easily removed when required. Remove the FoldAway Rotary or RetractAway Post from the Ground Socket and place the Cap supplied over the hole.
The Austral Ground Socket is suitable for use with:
The Galvanized Pin is used to set the height of the FoldAway Rotary or Retract Away Post during the installation process. The pin is punched through the side of the Ground Socket at various predetermined points to fix the nominated height and allow easy use of the clothesline.

AustraliaEasy instructions to install included with the washing line. I’d recommend installing this so it leans away from the clothesline a tiny bit, so when it’s tensioned up it appears straight (there’s a bit of play in the socket by design).
